Project Goal<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The goal of this project was to develop a procedural fabric material focusing on the creation of ornamental patterns using the native tools of Substance 3D Designer<\/strong>. Beyond the material itself, the purpose was to build a small library of reusable elements capable of generating multiple compositions while maintaining a coherent visual language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the main pattern, special attention was dedicated to the minor details of the fabric, incorporating stitching and reliefs that provide surface richness even in close-up shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pattern Construction<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the main aspects of the project was the completely procedural creation of the different ornamental motifs. Each element was built independently using only Designer<\/strong> nodes, allowing the pieces to be reorganized, scaled, and combined without losing visual consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, these elements are distributed through a procedural repetition system to form the final pattern, maintaining a balance between repetition and variation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fabric's visible stitching is also generated procedurally and integrated into the Normal<\/strong> map, providing volume and reinforcing the textile feel without depending solely on the Base Color<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
