Project Goal
The goal of this project was to develop a procedural fabric material focusing on the creation of ornamental patterns using the native tools of Substance 3D Designer. Beyond the material itself, the purpose was to build a small library of reusable elements capable of generating multiple compositions while maintaining a coherent visual language.
In addition to the main pattern, special attention was dedicated to the minor details of the fabric, incorporating stitching and reliefs that provide surface richness even in close-up shots.

Pattern Construction
One of the main aspects of the project was the completely procedural creation of the different ornamental motifs. Each element was built independently using only Designer nodes, allowing the pieces to be reorganized, scaled, and combined without losing visual consistency.
Subsequently, these elements are distributed through a procedural repetition system to form the final pattern, maintaining a balance between repetition and variation.
The fabric's visible stitching is also generated procedurally and integrated into the Normal map, providing volume and reinforcing the textile feel without depending solely on the Base Color.
